The Adelphi

The Adelphi has traded at the heart of the Newland community for 25 years, and is as much a part of that community as it has been a source of inspiration, and home from home to many 10’s of thousands of its inhabitants. It’s a fantastic little performance space that has witnessed shows by both the biggest and best in music along with other random events. It is renowned for its intimate, cosmopolitan, friendly and easy going atmosphere and for its challenging, none mainstream programming policy.

Shows: £0 - £12 (Usually £2-6)
At the Bar: Pints £2.35 - £3.30……Shots £1.60 upwards. Drinks offers are not advertised because it’s important to us that people attend primarily because of the event of the night. However if you use the place regularly you’ll discover them!

Performance can be anything from as good as it gets to someone exiting the latrine to perform on stage for the first time.

And the beers great.

Erratic, but friendly and real. Our staff are invariably plucked from amongst our customers.
