Rouse Opticians (G.M. and I.S. Rouse) is a local, family-run optical practice. We have been providing local eye care since the 70s, including eye examinations, contact lens fitting and supply of glasses. The Newland Avenue practice was established by Optometrist Geoffrey Rouse in 1977. The Bransholme Practice was later founded in partnership with his brother, Dispensing Optician, Ian Rouse in 1986. The Hessle Road branch was established with fellow partners, Optometrist Liam Castle and Dispensing Optician, Paul Newlove, in 2002. We currently employ a full-time qualified Dispensing Optician, Jacqui Stork and nine other members of staff on a full and part-time basis.
